I have the long rubberized neck version (select another color and you will find it listed). That version has a plastic cover. I have mine mounted on a lathe on top of the head stock with a double magnet base. I use it to remove shadows. I also have a bright 4 foot LED work light overhead. For me, the price was right and it is exactly what I was looking for. **Q: How do we contact you for this warranty ?** A: I have to say a direct contact would be used but I have not had to contact for a warranty and had bought my second one and neither have failed. I chose these for the magnetic base that is quite handy for getting light in certain areas. I might add they are cheap enough, I doubt I would mess with that just grab another unless it lasted no time at all. I love the LED lights so much better in my opinion. Go to your orders and click on that purchase that you have a problem, that will do it for you. **Q: Sorry my question seemed stupid. But when the power is restored the light doesn’t work. If I leave it unplugged for an hour or two and plug it back in** A: You probably have a bad connection somewhere. First make sure there is no problem with the outlet or extension cord that you are using by testing with another lamp or device. I think that the lamp basically consists of LEDs, switch, and cord. There may be a diode, resistor, and/or fuse. Unfortunately the only thing you can do yourself is to look for any damage to the plug and/or cord, make sure the switch is in the ON position, and plug the lamp in a different outlet.
