Would the paint come off if it was in the water a lot?** A: Schleich animals make excellent bathtub toys; ours have lasted through 6 grandkids playing with them in the tub & out, & they still look great. ( A couple of ours are at least 12-14 yrs old.) **Q: Male or female baby griaffe** A: Genitalia is not seen. It's sexless. **Q: How tall about this items?** A: It's about 3 inchs tall **Q: Would these be appropriate for a 1-year old? It says not for under three but I'm not seeing what would be a choking hazard.** A: I personally wouldn't give this to a 1-year old because of the length of the legs (possibly long enough to gag a child under three) and the possibility of one of the legs breaking off. I bought this for a college student, who adores giraffes, as part of a surprise care package(!)
