I have always enjoyed this brand! - As a student, I have used a lot of brands and found them pretty good, but I find this one superior in its aesthetics and overall results. As a teacher, I definitely recommend that you invest in the best materials you can afford. Talent and skill are key, but good materials go a long way in making the process easier and if you take care of your tools, they will take care of you and last a very long time. The images I have attached are quick sketches and I have not yet truly explored the values of this set. The image of the cow was done using only an old Staedtler Mars Lumograph 6B I had of this brand, the only one I could find before buying the complete set. Although the product code is the same, I do see a marked difference in the blackness of the new set; it is definitely more charcoal! With Staedtler, you cannot go wrong.

Talking about their textures,,never think it is smooth,,its really rough,but if you are not a beginner,this will be not an issue at all...i suggest u to buy blue lumograph so that you'll be allowed to easily get smooth results! and u know it is made in Germany,the leads...well,i liked the texture personally,even they are not smooth,you'll get an awesome result with it! and this one is cheaper than the normal ones and these are brilliantly affordable.. and now comes the best part i want to mention,,,the best thing i liked about these pencils are about its break-resistancy! believe me,once sharpened,the lead will not break when we add a nice pressure and the point type is absolutely fine! TOTALLY THEY ARE MONSTEROUS BY THEIR PERFORMANCE! You wont be disappointed,,actually i use graphites less and colored pencils more and i do fanarts...you can check my ig page @ajn.draws_ I strongly believe that this review helped you! As a student, I have used a lot of brands and found them pretty good, but I find this one superior in its aesthetics and overall results. As a teacher, I definitely recommend that you invest in the best materials you can afford. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Dark High Carbon pencils but got incorrect items in the box.

It goes without saying that these are really good pencils. High carbon content that reduces shine and lays down really smooth. It lies somewhere between graphite pencil and charcoal in tems of darkness. PS: I got HB, 7B instead of 4B, 2B. Must be a packaging error. Reducing a star here as 4B and 2B are highly used and packay of 2*2B, 2*4B, 6B, 8B makes more sense than what i received.
