These are not that. They are very light weight. Texture is neither scratchy nor slick. The top sheet appears to be just a large piece of fabric cut and minimally hemmed with no significant finishing or attention to detail. (Plain 1/8" flat seams all around, no top hem detail,) The bottom sheet would fit a very tall mattress and the full elastic seems secure. The king pillowcases are a nice feature though again, other than an "envelope" type closure minimally seamed and finished. They wash well though they wrinkle a great deal if you don't grab them out of the dryer when not quite dry.
