    Good read for foodies

I've read this book several times now in the few weeks I've had it and also bought his other books.  It is somewhat similar to other writings I've read on healing diets that are 75 to 100 years old (Gerson, Walker and others), and more recently, "The 80/10/10 Diet".  If Ehret were still living, I wonder what his recommendations would be for a transition diet in 2014???  The transition diet in the book was written by another person and the diet included milk products and other foods which would not be included today.  So, what if he had had a Vitamix, NutriBullet, juicer and all the fruit from all over the world that is available to us in the grocery stores today?  How different would his experience and writings be?  The 80/10/10 is probably the closest to how he would be eating today.  I enjoyed "Mucusless Diet Healing System" even though it was not a smooth read, but it did make me pull out the 80/10/10 and take a more serious look at how to incorporate more fruit and less fat into my diet.  Ehret was very determined to save his life...a definite read for low-fat vegans and want-a-be fruitarians.

Perfect insight into food, the human organism and disease formation. My health as improved dramatically, my sight, joints, clearness of mind. But I'm not very consistent, though I wish I was. But I know it works, my gout pain is lessened 95%. And I lost a few pounds overnight. Dramatic energy increase, I know cause I ride bicycle to work. Hormone imbalance from meat eating is straightened out. Stable now.  But, years of eating delicious bad foods, is hard for weak wills like mine.  But, no truth lover will be disappointed with this pure knowledge. God blessed insight.God speed.
