## Description

Features: If something goes wrong, if you have ROM or flash memory, this USB jig can turn your unhealed/half-stone phone back to download mode. It can clear your flash counter. You need to clear the flash counter when your phone needs warranty service, so Samsung does not root your phone or flash ROM. Instructions: 1. Turn off your phone and pull out the battery. 2. Simply replace the battery and do not turn on. 3. Plug the module into the micro USB port on the phone. 4. After about 2 seconds, you will see the yellow download mode logo on the screen. 5. Unplug the module. 6. Connect your phone to the computer with USB cable and then flash your phone via the program "odin". 7. Accessory only. Only works for unplugged phones (if your phone is stuck hard, this jig will stop working. Because hard trunk is under system error). Review: Worked to get me back to Download Mode - Old S2 Skyrocket wasn't booting up. Was able to get into download mode but totally screwed up flashing it with Odin twice and an old stock firmware. Wouldn't boot to download mode anymore. Got this USB Jig and was able to get it back into download mode no problem. I think the phone is screwed though because can't get very far in flashing it at all anymore. At least the Jig allowed me to get it back into download mode. Probably a nand issue now that would have to be repaired. Not worth the cost/hassle for such an old phone that i just use to mess around with.

It does what it's supposed to do, and will put a partially functional Galaxy phone into Download mode from a powered off state, without even needing to hit the power button. I tested it, and it does work. That said, it doesn't work on all bricked phones. Sometimes the phone is bricked in such a way, that even the download mode is broken, and you need a different approach, like QFIL or JTAG. That isn't the fault of this product. 4 stars because the description could better cover scenarios that it will/won't work in instead of betting that people will just buy & try it because it's cheap. Construction is solid, doesn't feel super cheap. Was worth the $6 to try. Packaging was overkill, lots of plastic. Good tool to have if you own Samsung phones and flash a lot. Note that the SGS3 phone in question doesn't vibrate or turn on at all. It does respond to plugging into a windows PC with Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 under Ports in the device manager, and will charge a battery (no LED though). If you phone has this behavior, I would not expect this device to boot it. Look elsewhere for a fix. Good Luck.

This won't fix all bricking problems.
