The driver side mat looked a bit loose by the door edge but it’s been 5 days since I installed and over time the mat has adjusted, likely due to the high temps inside the car, and is now a nicely fit like the others. The edge of the mats is lifted all around so no more passengers getting mud on anything but the mats. Any thing that falls on the floor ends up on the mat even water during rainy days. The thickness is very nice. They don’t seem like they will damage easy but it’s been less than a week so only time will tell how long they’ll last, I don’t use my truck for construction work or anything just regular daily commuting so they won’t go through heavy duty use. Weather tech mats are made with higher quality material at least in my opinion but the material used to make these mats do not look any less durable, they do feel very durable and they are flexible just enough that allowed you to install them with minimum struggle and do not have to worry about them collapsing due to the heat on the summer they hold their sturdiness and do not bend on their own. Finally the packaging did mentioned a smell, I had no issues with it since I left the mats in the truck bed overnight when I installed them the smell was gone.
