It does an excellent job picking up everyday dirt, dust, and pet hair, and I've been surprised by how much it collects even when the floors don't look dirty. The navigation is generally very good, and it leaves the floors looking noticeably cleaner after each run.It isn't perfect, though. Every once in a while it has trouble docking and will stop just short of the charging base instead of connecting. It doesn't happen often, but it's something I've noticed.
