## Description

Our easiest application yet Osmo Polyx-Oil is a general purpose wood finish that is derived from vegetable oils and natural waxes. Resistant to water, dirt, beer, wine, cola and saliva, Osmo Polyx-Oil is microporous and molecularly binds to wood meaning it won't crack, chip, chip or blister. Our new advanced Polyx-Oil formula has been specially designed in Germany to be the first hard wax oil available on the North American market that can be easily applied with a brush or roller, with no polishing required. Can be repaired and/or restored/renewed without sanding, so the wood no longer needs to be sanded and refinished completely.

Review: A little goes a L O N G way!! - I watched a YouTube video of a young man (Matt Estlea) from England (?) , an English accent I think. He used a unique way to apply the Osmo, a non-abrasive pad. It worked GREAT! Allowed for very thin coats which is key to applying this product and ASLO this application method really and I mean REALLY stretched the product out. According to the coverage on the can I was going to have enough for two coats with just a little leftover. Using this young man’s method, I barely used a quarter / half inch of the can. The end result is BEAUTIFUL….it looks very natural. I’m so happy I found this product.

**Q: Will this work to get scuffs out of engineered bamboo with aluminum oxide coating?**
A: yes it wood

A: i did 3 coats. if you have enough to do 3 coats I would do it.

**Q: Can i use it to repair minor scratch damage on engineered product flooring?**
A: Should be fine

**Q: Will this can be enough to cover a wood shelf thats 4ft long 7 inches wide 1 1/2 inches thick?**
A: Yes it will. A little bit goes a long way. Made 4 5" cubes and put 3 coats of finish on all of them and barely used a fourth of the can. You should have no problem covering your shelf.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great look and easy to apply!

I'm a lazy type so have used a range of poly type finishes and those are ok. Wanted to up the game by getting a nicer finish and this has had good video reviews. This is much nicer than the water based polys I had been using! This applies even and coverage good combined with well sanded pieces. Sanded to 220-320G is about right. This has a slight yellow tint so it makes the wood warmer looking. I use a 5cc syringe to place drops on the surface of my small pieces then rub cross grain using a cotton cloth. That 5cc of this has been enough to cover about a 12x12" area easily depending how dry the wood is. After the first coat, a light sanding with 600 or 1000G to catch any risers-dust that may have become stuck during the process. This small can will go a long way with my projects. The purple heart I put this on is really beautiful following. Have also had it an birdseye maple, curly maple, walnut, cherry with excellent results. On a few cherry pieces it was blotchy but that's part of working with cherry. Does not take a lot to achieve nice results either.
