The first thing after drying I tried to close the lid on the bowl and had difficulties, I started to send them back, but one night as I was putting away leftovers, I decide to use one of the bowls, but I still couldn't get the lid to close, out of frustration I took a elbow to the center of the lid and it closed! :) I decided to keep the bowls and use this method and I'm happy now, It keeps my food fresh and well kept and they stack right on top of each other, leaving me with space in my fridge, I still have my set from the 80's.
