It has a pleasant smell when using it, but once rinsed off can`t smell anything. I have short hair and after 14 uses there is still two thirds left, it lathers up well , even though we live in a hard water area. I don`t need much of it each time I use it, so it should last me a while. Instructions say to massage it into your hair and scalp for 3 to 5 minutes, which is a long time to do that even on the 3 minutes, so turn off the water. Once I have done that I leave it on my hair whilst I finishes off my shower to keep it on longer, and then a final rinse.
