I was searching for the one bean for such a long time, trying so many disappointing cups of espresso throughout my journey. I’ve had some that were good, but I just knew it wasn’t the one. Since that moment I have not purchased another brand of bean, nor do I ever plan to. Illy is truly my favorite espresso and I honestly have no desire to even try any others, it’s exactly what I want. The intenso is my favorite(I like darker roasts) and surprisingly, like many other dark roasts, it’s not bitter at all. Tho Classico is also good for a lighter roast. It’s a bit pricey, but worth every cent. With that said I’m not thrilled with the recent prices they’ve been selling this coffee for on here lately. It used to be $10-$11 for a can, now they’ve raised to nearly $17 on here. Buying this larger pack is cheaper, equaling to about $14.50 a can, but still higher than usual. Illy is easily the best espresso I’ve ever had. I was searching for the one bean for such a long time, trying so many disappointing cups of espresso throughout my journey. I’ve had some that were good, but I just knew it wasn’t the one. The first time I tried illy intenso, the very first espresso I made, I KNEW it was the one I’ve been searching for all this time! Since that moment I have not purchased another brand of bean, nor do I ever plan to. Illy is truly my favorite espresso and I honestly have no desire to even try any others, it’s exactly what I want. The intenso is my favorite(I like darker roasts) and surprisingly, like many other dark roasts, it’s not bitter at all. Tho Classico is also good for a lighter roast.
