The batteries are charged but when i turn radio on it says batteries dead , they are charged. why?** A: Replace the batteries with a better quality NMh batteries something like 1800-2200 mah. I had to replace the original Tecsun rechargeable batteries as they were just pure junk and I can not charge them without any problem. Also, do not overcharge the batteries.
