Review: Worked well to dye tea towels a cream color! - This wine tannin worked great! I was using it as a mordant to dye tea towels....my dye ended up not working the way that I needed it to. But the wine tannin did exactly what it was supposed to. I loved the color that the tea towels dyed them. They are the most beautiful cream color. The tannin was sealed tight and seemed super fresh. Seemed like a lot of product for the money as well!

A: Tannins are derived from the skins, stems, and seeds of the grapes used to produce the wine

**Q: Are we sure these are not chestnut or oak tannin, but actual tannin from grape plants?**
A: I’ve used this in the past 6 Berry wine batches.   I didn’t detect any oak or chestnut flavor… if that’s possible.  But I just thought it was for wine. Not sure

This wine tannin worked great! I was using it as a mordant to dye tea towels....my dye ended up not working the way that I needed it to. But the wine tannin did exactly what it was supposed to.
