I bought it for my MacBook Air, which has only 8GB of RAM. I need to run a Virtual Practicum app for my Forensic Nursing Practicum. First off, it fits in the palm of your hand and comes with two thick C-type connection cables. I installed and launched my very large practicum app with no issues. Also, I was able to run the app for 2 hours (the 1st full assessment) without issue. Other reviewers stated it gets a little hot, which is my only complaint. However, it did not affect performance, and it cooled down within seconds once I ejected it. I absolutely love it. I decided on 2TB of storage. I cleared my entire desktop of the 12+ PowerPoint presentations, plus the hundreds of papers and discussion posts I wanted to save from my MSN Forensic Nursing program. Next, I will attach it to my iPhone 17 and transfer the photos from my phone to it. I wish I had purchased this much sooner. I am looking for a small case for it. It would be nice if the company could create one or even bundle a compatible case for it. Definitely buy this one.
