I found that as long as the seed is covered with a fine layer of soil, kept damp to touch and in moderately mild / warm conditions (i.e. t shirt weather) you have an established lawn in 6 to 8 weeks. My neighbours were skeptical on whether this would work and on such a large area (I have to admit I was too but I thought it's worth a try) as they had never had any success sewing a lawn from seed ever before (I must point out they have never to my knowledge used any products from this supplier). After 6 to 8 weeks I had a beautiful thick and lush lawn, so much so, I will be ordering another 6 bags in the summer. My neighbour was blown away as was I. Its a few months later now and the lawn looks like its always been there.
