I read the review by Matthew Yukon before I bought it and it almost put me off buying this pedal (but the price at the time was too good, so I took the plunge), however, when I got the pedal I realized that the issue he was having was easily avoidable by simply adjusting the spacing with the provided drum tuning key. Out of the box, I agree with Matthew that it needs some adjusting. I confess it took me a bit of time to figure out how to adjust everything, so I took a week before I wrote this review, but now that I know my way around it, I think this pedal is brilliant, it just takes a bit of time and patience to dial everything in and it can be frustrating, but once you figure it out, you'll be very impressed with it and knowing that it is offers as much customization as it does.
