I have had it in for two weeks and yesterday, while showering, I was in a hurry and my thumb nail caught the earring between the back and my ear and yanked it HARD! It hurt I must say, but it didn’t budge. The earring is still in, so my experience with it is positive. Any other earring I have would’ve went flying, but this stayed put and unaffected. So what I have is extremely durable, it’s a pretty shiny gold ball which is what I wanted. So easy to put in and I believe it is worth the cost. I had these in two lobe holes and my cartilage however I had to take it out of my cartilage the next day because it was hurting so badly. I have extremely sensitive ears but have had no itching or redness with these and love that they are a flat back. They are very sparkly and an excellent value.
