## Description

LOCTITE HY 4070 2-component adhesive with hybrid technology The universal structural adhesive from LOCTITE is a two-component hybrid adhesive consisting of the components cyanoacrylate and methacrylate. Thanks to the hybrid technology, the adhesive achieves fast fixation of gaps (up to 5 mm) at room temperature. At the same time, the 2-component adhesive achieves excellent adhesive strength on many materials. As a versatile adhesive, the 2 part adhesive bonds plastics, metal and elastomers. It is used wherever adhesive must cure completely and be resistant to temperature and moisture. The adhesive is stable and, thanks to its gel-like consistency, can also be applied to vertical surfaces without running off. The surfaces must be clean and free of grease. Clean them with LOCTITE cleaner and allow to dry. Then mix components A and B. Using the piston provided, the adhesive can be dispensed directly from the cartridge and applied with the static mixer. Hold the cartridge vertically and insert it into the piston. In the vertical position, remove the cap, mount the static mixer and dispense the adhesive upwards until all air bubbles are removed. To ensure adequate mixing, dispense and discard bead of product. Apply the mixed adhesive to one of the surfaces. Assemble parts immediately after application. Then fix or press parts together until adhesive reaches hand strength. Hold parts in place while curing. Allow the joint to cure completely before loading (approx. 24 hours). Review: Excellent Strong Glue. - Best glue ever. This was introduced at work for a special application and was found to give an extremely strong bond for many other tasks. Because of it's many benefits I now buy this for home applications. It's easy to use, dries quickly, provides a strong bond and because of the sealing method of the packaging there is no throwing away a tube of glue due to the item becoming blocked with dried glue like many other types. The only downside is the rate you get through the nozzles if you are doing only small infrequent jobs but more can be bought and the package lasts a long time. I feel the benefits outweigh the purchase of extra nozzles.

Best glue ever. This was introduced at work for a special application and was found to give an extremely strong bond for many other tasks. Because of it's many benefits I now buy this for home applications. It's easy to use, dries quickly, provides a strong bond and because of the sealing method of the packaging there is no throwing away a tube of glue due to the item becoming blocked with dried glue like many other types. The only downside is the rate you get through the nozzles if you are doing only small infrequent jobs but more can be bought and the package lasts a long time. I feel the benefits outweigh the purchase of extra nozzles.
