If anyone is going to end up with fried hair, it would be me. I’ve been coloring it dark purple for over a year now. I decided I wanted a change. After shopping for products that don’t contain bleach I decided to try this. It got 99% of the purple out within 15m. My hair feels soft and conditioned. I’m going to do another dark color so I don’t feel the need to do a second application. First pic is after. Second pic is before. Yes, it smells bad. Not as horrible as some have reviewed, but definitely use the bathroom fan and be aware if you’re very sensitive. My eyes did burn a little. Overall, it’s nothing like the smell of an 80’s perm.
