Review: Super awesome. High quality sound for a small price. With FX Loop! - Clean and bright, warm and heavy overdrive. This amp pounds.
Review: Amazing little amp! - I've been looking at these amps for a while now. I decided to pull the trigger, and get the Zombie II. I received it today and hooked it up to a 1x12 cab with a vintage 30 speaker. This little guy is insanely loud. It's a little chuging machine, I still can't believe what's coming out of it. If you're into high gain metal tone this can't be beat at this price. I doubt at 20 watts this would hold up against a powerful drummer, but with a PA and a good mic, it most likely would. I was also impressed with the clean channel, it's not colored in any way by the gain. If you turn up the gain on the clean channel it beefs up your tone instead of having a traditional overdrive sound clip the tone, it's perfect for running pedals. There is quite a bit of beefy low end to this amp, something I personally like. I would suggest adding a pedal EQ to shape it to your liking. I'm really blown away by this little lunch box, I wouldn't hesitate in buying another. Edit 3/14/2025 This is not a head phone amp. I blew one of my drivers on a set of Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones. Not sure if this an impedance issue or overpowering on the headphone out. If you need a quiet headphone practice amp this ain't it. This was made for speaker cabs.

## Features

- Channel Switching & Independent Control: The BanTamp XL series features a dedicated footswitch for channel switching and six knobs. This allows you to independently control both the CLEAN and DISTORTION channels, giving you precise command over each channel's Volume, Gain, and Tone for ultimate tonal flexibility.
- Versatile High-Gain Platform & Clean Pedal Foundation: The ZOMBIE-II excels at lower gain settings and responds brilliantly to your favorite overdrive pedals, letting you push into higher gain with their unique character. Its high-gain structure pairs perfectly with a noise gate for tight, articulate heavy chords. Its pristine CLEAN channel is also an exceptional pedal platform, making it a flexible and portable companion for any situation.
- Big Amp Feel in a Mini Head: Don't let its size fool you. Once you start playing, the ZOMBIE-II delivers a rich, responsive tone that feels like a much larger amplifier. Its impressive 20W output is remarkably loud and dynamic, perfect for practice, recording, or small gigs.
- Hybrid Design & Studio-Grade Features: This hybrid amp head combines a genuine 12AX7 tube in the preamp with a solid-state power section for rich harmonics and reliable performance. The studio-grade FX loop lets you place time-based and modulation effects (delays, reverbs, choruses, flangers, phasers) after the drive stage, keeping your effects clean and defined.
- Bluetooth & Silent Practice Ready: The built-in Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to stream backing tracks or lessons directly to the amp for practice. For quiet sessions, use the headphone output with its integrated speaker cabinet emulation to play anywhere without disturbing others.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mas de lo que esperaba
*by L***O on 12 June 2023*
