It smelled like the sniff of a good rose wine, which I loved personally. It smells very feminine and romantic, but also sophisticated and clean. It's fresh, without being green. It stayed on my skin a long time, but not on my clothes which was interesting because it's usually backwards. The fade was soft and powdery, with the white flowers as a constant throughout. It does have a very slightly soapy quality as well. The cons are that the projection is quite weak (my partner liked the smell, but had to get right up on me to smell it), with moderate sillage. I had to respray twice, but truly enjoy the scent. It's a delicate, lovely fragrance, and at this price point, totally worth the buy.
