If the HW inlet water temp is below 120 the valve will simply pass cold water. The max pressure for both inlets is 150 PSI. There is no listed minimum pressure. Pressure drop varies with flow- at 6 GPM flow the pressure drop is 10 PSI. **Q: My solar hot water will be feeding my electric tankless heater. This should drop the water from 180 to 120 degree before tankless heater right?** A: Yes- but a couple of cautions. The maximum outlet temperature setting is 120 degrees, and the maximum inlet hot water temp to get that 120 degrees is 180 degrees. The valve is rated to still function at 200 degree inlet temp but at anything over 180 you will likely end up with an outlet temp over 120. **Q: The temperature adjustment knob will not turn.
