I work with multiple vocalists and a good number of acoustic instruments, and this mic keeps coming out on top. So I need to bump the rating from 4 stars to 5. Original review (4 stars): I wanted to love this mic, especially given its compact size. I spent a good bit of time using it in A-B situations with the rest of my mic collection, which includes large diaphragm AKG-414, and Rode NT1 (original) and NT2s. It has a nice character and I'm definitely keeping it around but in 80% of the cases I prefer the other large diaphragm mics. So that makes it hard to give it a 5-star-you-must-buy-THIS-mic recommendation.
