**Q: Hi, will this convert 9/16 pedal screw size (small) into a larger 1/2 crank screw socket (big)?**
A: Please let me help.  8/16" is 1/2"  9/16" is 1/16" is just over the one half increment.  The spacers fit the 1/2 inch crank set and increase the the size to the 9/16 inch petal screw.  The spacers also move the petal out about 1/2 inch to keep the knee from striking the side of the bike.  It also relieves some of the knee pain associated with a standard crank set. **Q: Is this to convert 1/2 to 9/16?**
A: These will convert 9/16 pedals to 1/2 cranks.

**Q: Have pedals l & r opposite threat turns? r clockwise and l counter clockwise?**
A: The standard for bike pedals. (The one side is opposite threads). I have always done my pedals by standing on the opposing side bending down over bike and it is just, righty righty and lefty loosely.

**Q: Installed these, and can only pedal a short way before the pedals fall off. Am I missing something?**
A: Sounds like the threading is opposite and they are backing out. Or not tight enough when installed
