Review: Strangely Good - I will be the first admit these are a little different. A little slimy without a strong flavor. Being twice the size and thinner in texture than your typical Gu/Clif product, they take up more space, but go down easy. No reaching for water, as they almost slide their way down, as if lubricated. Their taste is somewhat neutral - you get more of a flavor hint than an explosion of taste. Definitely not sweet and sticky. I've used them for training, but would probably go for more traditional gels in a marathon due to size and weight. Six of these in my shorts would likely get me a wardrobe malfunctions and a DQ. If you're gel curious, grab some and see what they're all about.

I will be the first admit these are a little different. A little slimy without a strong flavor. Being twice the size and thinner in texture than your typical Gu/Clif product, they take up more space, but go down easy. No reaching for water, as they almost slide their way down, as if lubricated. Their taste is somewhat neutral - you get more of a flavor hint than an explosion of taste. Definitely not sweet and sticky. I've used them for training, but would probably go for more traditional gels in a marathon due to size and weight. Six of these in my shorts would likely get me a wardrobe malfunctions and a DQ. If you're gel curious, grab some and see what they're all about.
