## Description

The Milescraft TrackSawGuide™ turns any circular saw into a precision guided track saw system. Achieve perfectly straight cuts whether you are ripping sheets up to 50” long, cross cutting, or angle cutting. Eliminate risky freehand cutting that wind up costing you valuable time, money and frustration. Unlike other track saw systems, the all-aluminum base and rail construction increases the rigidity of the TrackSawGuide™. This reduces the flex and play found in plastic saw guides and provides a more accurate cut. The aluminum base is lined with anti-friction pads that glide along the rails for smooth and easy operation. Additionally, you can dial in your preferred tension using the included Glide Adjusters. The base of the TrackSawGuide™ is universal, fitting most circular saws in the market with blades up to 7-1/4”. To align the TrackSawGuide™ simply line the red strip to your cut mark. The strip acts as a guide and the blade will cut directly up to the edge. It also helps prevent chipping and splintering. Long anti-slip strips on the bottom of the rails keeps the TrackSawGuide™ in place. For a more secure cut, you can use the included T-Track Clamps to lock the rails to your workpiece. The TrackSawGuide™ can extend from 27.5” to as long as needed with available GuideRail™ additions. The low profile also lets you cut deep enough to handle common interior doors. I have tested it with both my corded 7" DeWalt and a cordless 6" to summarize my feedback over the span of over 100 cuts: Pros: + The rails are easy to connect and align before using the provided blade alignment plate to place your circular saw onto the base. + The tracks are straight and sturdy enough. + The tracks are grippy to prevent sliding on the material being cut. + Included clamps are a big bonus but not always necessary to use. + Overall great build quality and attractive price-point. **Q: How much does this system reduce depth of cut?  Will this work for both blade right/left saws?**
A: Cutting depth is reduced by .57" or ~14mm when using the TrackSawGuide.  Both right and left handed saws can be used with the guide- you just reverse the direction you have to slide the saw (Left to Right vs. Right to Left).

**Q: will this fit on to a Milwaukee M12 circular saw?**
A: the 1409 TrackSawGuide is built to work with most 7-1/4" circular saws. I'm my research it doesn't look like the Milwaukee M12  is a 7-1/4" saw, so it will not work with the product.

**Q: If i buy two of these can i join both kits together to make a single long track?**
A: Yes, however you will be lacking the connecter bars to extend to the full 110" range.  If you purchase our 1408 GuideRails add-on, it comes with 4 connector bars and 2 additional tracks which will allow you to complete full 8 foot cuts.

**Q: Where do you find the parallel rip guides that attach to the tracks? i checked amazon and the milescraft site and i can't find them.**
A: This one fits the milescraft track. The milescraft track is 1-2mm to wide for the guides after the cut guard is cut, so I had to make a couple of adjustments.

This is a great alternative to purchasing a dedicated track saw. I have tested it with both my corded 7" DeWalt and a cordless 6" to summarize my feedback over the span of over 100 cuts: Pros: + The rails are easy to connect and align before using the provided blade alignment plate to place your circular saw onto the base. + The tracks are straight and sturdy enough. + The tracks are grippy to prevent sliding on the material being cut. + Included clamps are a big bonus but not always necessary to use. + Overall great build quality and attractive price-point. El artículo está hecho de buena calidad y resistente. Viene en dos partes la guía. En caso de que se requiera, solo ensamblas las dos partes para crear una guía relativamente larga. Los cortes salen muy derechos, lo cual me tiene muy satisfecho con la compra. Hay otras guías similares pero con materiales de plástico y eso fue lo que no le gustó de las otras. Esta es hecha con aluminio las guías y la plantilla para la Sierra Circular. Cuenta también con dos prendas para sujetar las guías a una mesa de trabajo. En resumen, vale la pena cada peso que vale el artículo. 100% recomendado. 😉👍
