Review: These Dysons don’t suck. - If I were to say these are the best sounding cans I have ever owned, I wouldn’t be exaggerating, I’m not one of these self-proclaimed audiophiles but I know what I like and I know how things should sound and these hit the mark perfectly. When people say they hear things in songs they’ve never heard before, they must be referring to these headphones, highs, mids and lows are all present and accounted for, with no bleeding evident and no one area dominating the others. Bass is present but where it belongs, in the background, however if a track calls for it, the cans step up to the mark with ease but not to the point where sound is distorted and mids and highs are dominated. There is a 5 band eq in the app, I tinkered with it, but in the end selected the enhanced pre-set eq with ANC in full mode and that really hits the mark, the base eq with noise cancelling off is very similar, the neutral eq is too flat for me but in all fairness, still sounds well, but just isn’t to my taste. The cushions provide a good degree of passive noise cancelling, transparency mode and full ANC hit the mark with ease and both have a degree of customisation you can select. Battery life even with full ANC engaged is very long lasting, it’s estimated at 55 hours and I well believe it. As for the app, download, set up and connection with my iPhone 17 was seamless, the app is quite simple but very intuitive, connection with my phone is instant, stable and with no drop outs. As others have mentioned there is some Dyson product placement within the app but it’s at the very bottom of the main headphone control page, is not distracting and you do have to scroll down to actually get to it, so it doesn’t detract or distract whatsoever but if you fancy some new cups or outside cup shells, that’s where you’ll find them. The cans themselves look stunning, the build quality is immediately evident and whilst they feel weighty in the hand, on the head it’s a different matter, weight distribution is excellent, with great support from the headband and plush cushions, that fit perfectly but with no uncomfortable clamping force or fatigue. They look big and I was worried about the cyberman effect when wearing them, once on the head however, they look and feel natural, helped by the fact the headband is well contoured and doesn’t leave a large gap between the side of the head and the cans themselves. Controls couldn’t be simpler, on/off button on the left cup, a small joystick on the right, for play/pause, volume up/down, skip or replay a track, it’s very effective and couldn’t be simpler to use, tapping either earcup, switches between ANC and transparency mode. And that is it, no other buttons, swipes, nothing, all very easy, intuitive and most importantly effective. The cans come with a slim protective case, there is however a slightly more larger semi-rigid case which is included should this be your preference. I am very impressed with these, would I have paid full whack for them. Knowing what I about them now, without a shadow of a doubt, so at the price they’re currently on offer for around the £200 mark, they are an absolute steal and in all honesty blow the opposition out of the water. They look completely different from anything out there, so if you’re after new headphones, with top class looks, fit, comfort and sound, that will set you apart from the Bose and Sony sheep, you’ll not go wrong with the Dyson on trac, I highly recommend them.
Review: Great headset for heavy daily use and long product life cycle as a headset - It is as nice as expected. The look of the headset is very classic but also giving s vintage vibe. It goes with any looks and the mic quality is excellent. I was looking for a headset with extra large capacity in battery for my heavy daily use in listening to music and talking on phone. The sound quality is alright, I believe it suits most of the pop music but I would not recommend to compare it with Sony XM4. Sony is more like for a more professional setting but Dyson OnTrac is for everyday use. They are all good just different usage and I love both of them. I feel like Dyson OnTrac is going to last long as the cushions are replaceable, which is one of the main part of the headset that would age and crack, then cause further issues or inconvenience after a few years of usage. I believe with the replaceable cushions design, Dyson OnTrac is going to last longer than a most of the headsets on the market would and I can't wait to get more accessories for the style and the maintenance of the headset.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Striking design and excellent value for money with the heavy discounts currently on offer.
*by G***R on 31 May 2026*

They are a striking design and certainly well made as you would expect from a Dyson product. And the value for money on this heavily discounted item is really good and makes the purchase a worthwhile one. The sound quality (in my humble opinion) is very good and the Noise cancelling works well with very, very good battery life. Good packaging, again as you would expect from a Dyson product. The only negative and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is they are quite chunky and heavy on your head while wearing.
