This review is for the 2" blocks, which at the time of this review are no longer available on this product page. My blocks came with very minimal packaging and no storage case. They are made of iron so extensive packaging isn't really needed, but one of my blocks had minor damage to one corner. Since there is only a thin layer of cardboard to protect these relatively heavy blocks I think they are likely to sustain minor dents or nicks during shipping. There are also a few areas on the blocks which were not properly deburred from the factory, so plan on some minor cleanup with a stone or file. The blocks themselves seem to be of decent quality with nice surface finishes. I don't have inspection equipment to check for parallelism or squareness. Overall a nice set of V-blocks.
