Only problem I see may occur is the head splitting down the seem where they fused the head together. (Shown in picture provided) I also thought it was funny it's called "Real Steel" but made of genuine American hickory and rubber.

Nice solid mallet with nice weight to it. It definitely does right for the money. I like everything about it and will probably buy another 1 if it doesnt fall apart with in 2 months of use.
