Review: Fast delivery, good light - Light arrived where I am in Oz < 5 days after order. Was packed in 2 boxes - the second one was a little excessive in terms of dimensions, but it was well-packed. The accessory hangars/cord pulleys work really well. Appreciate the AU plug - it's actually a standard 3-pin IEC C13 connector, so replacements are easy enough to fine. Had a tiny bit of trouble plugging the power into the light array, so be aware that the hole drilled for the plug at the side of the unit is a very snug fit. I wasn't pushing it through firmly enough at first, but I gently held the other side of the plug receiver, gave it slightly firmer pressure and it went through and stayed snug in the socket. I find it a little strange that you get more info on this desertcart page than you do the Mars Hydro site, but check their recommendations here for light intensity - e.g. 25% for germination. I've got the light hanging fairly low at present, only 35cm from the top of the plants, so I've got it set at a bit over 15% (checking for about 8000 lux using a phone-based light meter, which is accurate enough). Anyway good product, seems to do exactly what it says on the tin, with a simple, good design with well-made components.

**Q: What is the efficacy of this light?**
A: LOL, Mars Hydro can't even answer a basic question about their own product. They've falsely stated stated that the "TS600" consumes 150W but obviously they are talking about the TS1000. The TS600 draws 100W. The sticker on the TS600 claims efficacy of 2.3 umol/J. But this is a lie. Mars Hydro has not produced test reports to back up this claim. And I just finished testing the TS600 and it is SIGNIFICANTLY dimmer than other 100W LED competitors. I estimate the efficacy to be 1.8 umol/J. And as for the TS1000, the 2 year old Integrating Sphere test report clearly shows the PPE to be 2 umol/J. However, this was before the added the IR diodes. The driver was revised also. The TS1000 has a sticker claiming PPE of 2.2 and after testing the unit against other models, I believe this might be accurate. It's at least 2 umol/J or possibly 2.2 umol/J, but not any higher (as of Jan 2021).

**Q: Does this light get hot?**
A: 115F was the hottest spot on the driver (tent w/inline and oscillating fan). So I would say warm, but not hot at all. About as warm as a T5 fixture... Much less heat than 315w CMH, 250w MH/HPS.

**Q: How to turn it up to a 1000 Watts**
A: It only runs 150 watts on full blast. Its supposed to replace a 1000 watt hps. If you get the new model it has a dimming switch

**Q: Quick question... one "rape" rachet, is that enough to hold down one or two?**
A: This question didn't get answered correctly the first time. The correct answer is: Yes.
