Long story short, I've got a toddler with a feeding disorder who isn't physically able to eat solids or take a lot of cups consistently, and still heavily relies on a bottle. She's got lots of food allergies and I do a homemade plant milk, but she was really needing more real food. This sweetener allowed me to make pureed real food that is still palatable without going crazy on the fruit or adding a ton of sugar. A small sprinkle really brings out the sweetness of the fruit and helps cover up other flavors. I used it in our morning smoothies and it was fantastic. I used maybe 1/4 of a teaspoon for an almost 40 oz smoothie. I use just a sprinkle in 12oz of thick puree. And it works wonderfully. We also plan to use it in plain yogurt to help reduce the need for added sugar. It does have a slight aftertaste when you consume it alone, so it works best in small amounts to play up existing sweetness, or reduce the need for as much other sweeteners. But it works absolutely amazingly for our little girl, and has allowed her to more easily take real food, and she's already thriving.
