ラップと言えば，ギャングスタ・ラップ一辺倒だった僕にはとても新鮮に響いた。 ハウリング気味のヴォーカルに環境音楽のようなクールなピアノの「Over My Dead Body」，ゆったりと流れるシンセ・バラード「Shot For Me」と冒頭2曲でグッと引き込まれ，「Crew Love」のセツナ系サビに胸を打たれる。 流麗なピアノをループした「Under Cround Kings」や，ドラマティックで壮大なコーラスをループした「Lord Knows」では，高揚感のあるサビに惹かれ，どこか寂しげで北欧的な透明感を漂わせる「Marvins Room」や「The Real Her」に心洗われる。 穏やかで心地良いのに，ストリートでもある摩訶不思議な1枚。
