It cuts amazingly well, letting you know the proper amount of pressure for the best cut by way of an LED light on the base of the blade unit. The battery lasts a very long time as well. It charges up in a descent amount of time, but because it fits in a base/stand for charging, it wouldn't be able to be used while it is charging. Not a show stopper, because if you run out of battery on this thing, you were either lazy or not paying attention. I've used this with a wet face and dry face.
