Designed for long-distance athletes, it enables absorption of up to 100g carbs per hour while minimizing gastric discomfort. ## Description

Maurten : Gel 100. It is the world's first energy freeze. It's bold, but true! From a technical point of view, traditional "gels" are composed of water and carbohydrates mixed into syrup, often full of flavors and preservatives. The instructions indicate that they should be consumed with water. Gel 100 is completely different. This is a biopolymer matrix, a unique combination of glucose and fructose (0.8:1 proportion) that allows assimilation of up to 100g of carbohydrates per hour. It is made with natural hydrogel technology, with six natural ingredients. It contains no dye or preservatives, and comes in 40g portions containing 60% carbohydrates for an excellent weight-to-energy ratio. Gel 100 has a very mild taste, barely detectable, because carbohydrates are encapsulated in the hydrogel structure. It is not necessary to take it with water. Directions: Consume the gel just before, during and/or immediately after sports activity. Amount of energy: Various studies have shown that our body can consume up to 90g of carbohydrates every hour. Recent science has shown that the 0.8:1 glucose and fructose ratio allows for even greater absorption: up to 100 g per hour. Gel 100 offers this ratio and contains a lot of energy. One serving contains 25 g of carbohydrates. Consume 4 Gel 100 per hour, and you will be ready for any sporting activity.

Review: Best in the game by a mile - By far the best I have tried. Zero GI Issues, packed with Carbs. Best in the Game by a mile

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these
*by B***A on 25 February 2026*

This is by far the easiest gel to take down for me taste and texture wise. Doesn’t affect my stomach at all. I have used these for several marathons and long runs. I’ve tried dozens of other gels out there and these are the only that remain constant for me. They’re pricier, but to me they’re totally worth it to buy for races because I know the quality is great and they’ll keep me going the whole race. I’m my opinion, the consistency is a cross between marshmallow and jello and it has a very mild sweet flavor that doesn’t stick in your mouth.
