Review: Absolutely works! Great purchase. - I purchased this with pretty low expectations. Every summer I have a swarm of carpenter bees that go to work on the arches of my roof. You'll literally hear them tapping against windows from inside the house. After 2 days I had one bee in the trap. 2 weeks later I had zero bees flying around the exterior of my house and the trap was completely full. I emptied it and left just one bee inside and at the moment it is half full and I have not seen any bees airborne anywhere near the roof all summer. I positioned it in a window corner below the bee activity spot. Best part is I can take it inside in the fall and remount next year.

Updated review. My initial thought was that this is a disappointing purchase since it caught only one bee while the rest were boring holes in surrounding areas a few feet away. I have better luck with a fly swatter. 2 weeks later, I started seeing new residents in the two traps. They really worked! After 3 weeks, the body count was 9. Best part of that I no longer see them when I’m enjoying the outdoor deck and gazebo. Glad to have purchased them. Highly effective solution to a common problem.
