Thus I get 12 gallons of tea per 48 count box This tea is also available in boxes of 24 Family size bags and 100 count standard size bags. FYI, I use 12 of the standard size bags per gallon. There are reviews stating that they are not family sized tea bags, but single serve.** A: A single bag of this tea (Luzianne Family Size) weighs 14 grams. The regular size (think Lipton Tea, single cup) weighs 2 grams (about 1 tsp.). This family size should make 2 quarts, depending on your preference.
