I wish it could read/test other types of PC Cards, but for cards with the ATA designation ONLY, this works great. It worked for me to read some old PCMCIA cards using MacOS Sequoia. Plug and play with no setup/drivers, etc. FWIW, I put the card into the reader, then connected the USB cord.
