The description said the scale would be silver, but I was sent one that was bright blue. The different color didn't bother me, so I decided it wasn't worth the time and hassle to request an exchange. As others experienced, the batteries that came with the scale were corroded, so I had to run out and buy some more AAA batteries to get the scale to work. Not the end of the world, but still, if a product is going to advertise that batteries are included, it would be nice if those batteries were actually usable. That's the main reason for deducting a star. Depending on where I placed the round container, affected the weight. Placing food more towards the front made it more accurate to what the weight should compared to placing of leaning more towards the back of the scale. so other than making sure the item you’re weighting is in the appropriate position, it works very well. Certain bowls obstruct the screen. I can't use a mixing bowl or else I'll struggle to read the numbers. 60 second shut down is a blink of an eye to me. It feels like I weigh something, look away to read a recipe, and the number is gone. I absolutely hate cooking with this thing. I just got a bigger scale at the store today because I'll go crazy if I have to use this tiny scale to cook any longer. Yes I'm writing this review while I'm hot-headed but I guess it must be said.Overall, it works but don't use it in the kitchen.
