I purchased all 4 bands, for a variety of resistances; that way, as I advanced in the workout, I could do the same moves with more resistance. The color-coding is helpful, and the latex material is sturdy enough to stretch repeatedly with enough "give" to be able to execute the full range of motion in all the exercises. These bands are portable, best of all, and for the price, are a great deal for the set (I bought an inferior set of bands with 3 resistances, all much shorter by about a foot in length, for about $15 US).
