I'm afraid the dishwasher detergents are too strong for the rack. Don't want to chance it. I've ruined the past one, but not sure of ITS material, it was very old. **Q: Does this come in iridescent rainbow?** A: It's stainless steel, with a little bit of black rubberized plastic. I don't think other colors are in the cards, here. **Q: What is the length/width of the distance between the feet, not the top of the drainer?** A: The distance between the black rubber feet is approximately 7" x 12" **Q: are the extendable rubber arms removable?** A: No. I suppose if u were really motivated u could but it would require u to bend the hooked end straight so it could pass through the bracket. I don’t know why u would remove these.
