I did find out how water got into the phone in the first place. Being a refurb it was never fully sealed up when they worked on it last. So for now my phone sits in a bag of rice to soak up remaining moisture. I did get 75% power right out of the box but bcuz of the water, it keeps rebooting..... As for the battery, it came with adhesive already on it so the included adhesive was extra. It was an exact match for size and specs. Make sure you view and read several YouTube videos to see how to take the phone apart. It's not really hard. Just a little tedious. When I tried to take the back off my phone the glass started to crack. There were no cracks in the phone before hand. I used a blow dryer to heat up the glue as instructed but it did not seem to help.
