It's compact size and the fact that it can easily fit inside the small included bag makes it easy to take everywhere. There's even a hook attached to the pull string that will allow you to hang it from a bag. Either store it in the car or in your bag. It's literally that small that you can keep this anywhere. This waterproof fabric is great for laying on the ground for picnics, a day at the beach or even a tarp. There is a small pocket on it that stores a hood, so you can even use it to keep yourself dry during rain. The fact that it's soft is a bonus. At first glance, I thought that it would give off a plastic feel and make me sweat, but it doesn't.
