It has a much more delicate flavour than other assam's I've had. Strong without being over powering. For some reason it isn't always available for click and collect delivery though which means I have to go without as home delivery doesn't work for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious- no yucky tannin taste *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 February 2025* Was given a box of this in a Christmas hamper and can’t get enough of it - I’m totally addicted. I normally drink black tea but have to take it weak (literally in and out with the teabag) as the tannin can be a bit much, but this I truly is enjoyable. I’ve been steeping the bag for up to 5 minutes and there’s no yucky tannin, it’s is just lovely flavour. Delighted to recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little forgettable in in flavour *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 July 2018* Nice organic Assam, but too subtlety flavoured for my liking. I'll stick with my Tippy Assam. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/70709197-hampstead-organic-assam-tea-bags-4-x-20-bold-black](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/70709197-hampstead-organic-assam-tea-bags-4-x-20-bold-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
