Review: Rugged - I researched roof top cargo boxes for weeks. Found and this and was motivated to order on price point alone. Was super surprised to find the quality of it is really great. Sturdy and relatively light weight for its size. Only downside is the “lock” options. Very few locks will work on this. Other than that a solid investment.
Review: Excellent box, one design miss on the lock holes - I mounted this on the Thule roof rack of my Suburban and it spans almost the full length of the vehicle sitting horizontal. The box itself is excellent: rotomolded, heavy, thick walls, and the lid seals tight. It looks like it belongs on the truck, not like an afterthought. Two things worth knowing before you buy. First, if you are mounting it on a Thule-style crossbar rack, it is not plug-and-play. I had to cut the included mounting bracket to the exact length I needed. Doable with basic tools, but plan for it. I also added my own safety cables as a backup, cheap peace of mind for something riding on the roof. Second, the lock holes. The two holes sit about 1.5 cm too far apart, so closing a normal padlock through them is nearly impossible. If the piece were just a bit longer this would be perfect. I ended up ordering a special lock to work around it. This is my only real complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. One more practical note: the lid needs more room than the box footprint to open fully. Mine touches the tent mounted behind it. If you are laying out a roof platform, leave clearance behind the box. After driving with it loaded with tools: solid, no rattles, no movement. Happy with the purchase and I would buy it again.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really nice but tie down options are a fail

I like it but they need better tie down options for roof racks no one wants to just drive around with a ratchet strap around a box. I ended up buying cable locks and putting them through the holes for the roof rail bolts. This works great for a roof rack so why wouldn’t you provide a tie down option for that makes no sense. You need a better design team. I think the price is high but it is what it is. Just do better on the options fo securing
