We have long narrow channels that house red-fish, trout and snook - and I needed something that was lite (to ward off against reel-fatigue) as well as responsive so that I could sense the slightest hit on my jerk-bait or free-line shrimp.This rod was the perfect choice. It arrived very quickly (just a few days after I ordered it) and it was packaged very well. i always get nervous ordering stuff like this on the internet as you never know how it's going to arrive because of packaging and transit - but these folks packed it super well. It arrived in mint condition. I even appreciate the tote bag they included too!Overall - it seems to be durable - the eyes are quality - it's not a "chintsy" rod that's gonna fall apart in a year. The rod is very light weight and I've spent quite a few hours fishing per day with no fatigue. I even hiked through a local park fishing a lake for a few hours carrying this rod around and didn't have any issues.
