I mentioned that this piece should not be plastic. I went and bought an after market steel Jack plate. After extensive research and even a couple trips to guitar center, I decided to purchase this guitar for my 12 year old son. He wanted a wammy bar and the choices were limited for guitars around $200. Got this with the fender Mustang LT25 it's a great set up for beginners. I did notice that my b string has a slight after vibration ting sound. But I'm sure I could get that fixed if I put it in a shop. I just haven't gotten to it yet.
