I've honestly not had a single bit of plantar pain since I started wearing these. The cushioning is plush but not overly plush, the arch support is perfect for my low arches, and the achilles padding really helps with stability. My only gripe would be it seems as if the laces are shorter than the Glycerin GTS 20s that I bought last year. Oh well.
