I decided to go with this one because it only requires you to transfer the home button and you do not have to worry about the camera, speaker and light sensor. The difference in cost is well worth it. Installation was much easier than I thought and got it done in about 30 minutes.Before this I had my screen replaced at the mall by a 3rd party vendor and it was a disaster. Everything that could go wrong went wrong (washed out colors, light bleeding) they even installed a black screen instead of white and transferred my white button and it looked ugly. When I tried to trade the phone at the Apple Store they said it could not be traded for a newer phone because of the badly replaced screen. When I tried to have that screen replaced again but this time at the Apple Store, I had to wait for hours only to find out that they would not repair it (because they said there was water damage - which there never was, but I guess the steam from the morning shower over the years altered the water contact indicator) and offered to replace my phone for only $299! I was very disappointed in Apple and decided to try the repair myself. So I did my search and came across this kit and... I could not be happier! My phone is back and like new! Great glass for the price. We have an old iPhone 6 that we didn’t want to put a lot of money into, but still didn’t want to buy a new phone. The screen is a little bit thicker than the original, so it sticks up a bit when you hold your phone level and look at it, but it doesn’t bother us.The phone was bent, the home button and front camera didn’t work and our glass was completely chattered, so this is doing what we wanted it to do. One thing to keep in mind is that if you want to be able to use touch ID, you need to get the home button from the previous screen. I believe these are IMEI specific and a new one will not work. The video demonstrates this as well but does not mention the pros and cons of the replacement.
