Does it last?** A: Yes, the thread is well made. Very strong and durable. **Q: Is this thread waxed or not??? Seem to be many conflicting reviews.** A: No. If it is waxed, I cannot tell it. It is definitely not waxed the way that the thread that you would get from Tandy or some other leathercraft supplier is waxed. It's also very thin. Wouldn't look good on a piece with large stitching holes. I don't plan to buy it again. **Q: What is it made from ?** A: I'm not completely sure, but it's probably waxed polyester it is pretty strong stuff being that it is braided and not twisted like what you normally see. **Q: What size of needle would you use for this thread?** A: I am not sure. The thread is close to 1/ 64 in thick.
